We removed or covered-up all the badging – inside and out – so nobody knew what vehicles they were comparing. And then we asked people to honestly rate the vehicles on things like Price, Fuel Economy, Warranty, Roominess, Horsepower, and Equipped Features. We call it The Northwest Chevy Dealers Dare To Compare Challenge.
Forced to abandon preconceptions, media hype, and reputation, and rely strictly on the attributes of the vehicles in front of them, in our blind tests 75% of those surveyed preferred Chevrolet.
